Temporal Limbic System (Memory)

Within the limbic system, the temporal limbic system, which includes the hippocampus, is involved in the memory process.

How memories are formed

Information that reaches the temporal limbic system becomes a lasting memory by passing through three stages: memory buffer → short-term memory → long-term memory.
